Carmen Cuevas obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Pais Vasco and did her post-doctoral training at the Pharmacology Department of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Alcala de Henares (Madrid). She also holds a Master Degree (PDD) by IESE (Madrid). Carmen is responsible for the R&D Department at PharmaMar since 2003 which includes the areas of Drug Discovery, Medicinal Chemistry and Preclinical Development. She has led PharmaMar’s ADC program from early development up to the patenting of the platform on the basis of the company’s cytotoxic payloads.
