P.D.: Doxil lleva fuera de mercado más de un año y por tanto un año sin poder tratar a pacientes y sin realizar ventas ya que se detectaron deficiencias en su fabricacion ... ahora parece ser que por fin su vuelta al mercado en EEUU tiene fecha ... 22 Octubre 2012 .
Una noticia que afecta directamente al Yondelis ya que este consiguió la aprobación parea tratar Cáncer de Ovario en combinación con Doxil ... esperemos que tras más de un año sin realizar ventas para esta indicación ... las ventas de Yondelis Ovario se reanuden en breve ... la EMEA logicamente debera seguir los pasos de la FDA .

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- For the first time in more than a year, physicians who have been using the drug Doxil to treat patients with ovarian cancer will be able to order it without restrictions.
Dr. Robert DeBernardo, a gynecologic oncologist at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, on Tuesday said he hopes the move will mean an uninterrupted supply of that class of drug -- now that physicians will have a choice between Doxil and a substitute imported from India that the Food and Drug Administration approved earlier this year.
UH physicians had largely shifted to using Lipodox, the imported drug, but DeBernardo said, “If I have a choice between one or the other, I’m going to go back to Doxil.”
